Join us in celebrating World Refugee Day on June 20th, an international day designated by the United Nations to honour refugees around the globe. This day recognizes the strength and courage of those who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict or persecution, and it's a time to build empathy and understanding for their plight while acknowledging their resilience in rebuilding their lives.
Wide World for Refugee is proud to partner with the Refugee Congress, International Rescue Committee, and KCLS for the 2023 World Refugee Day commemoration. This free event will bring together our community to achieve the following objectives:
Celebrate: Let's celebrate the vibrancy, diversity, and resiliency of refugees and honor their invaluable contributions to our society.
Networking & Collaborating: Together, we'll raise awareness among the WA community, partners, and refugee-led organizations about the issues affecting refugees and immigrants.
