Education and Outreach

Our organization is dedicated to providing free online English classes specifically designed for immigrants and refugees. In our ongoing efforts, we continuously explore new approaches and innovate ways to implement them effectively.

Many immigrants and refugees receive only brief cultural orientation sessions, typically lasting 1-2 hours, upon arrival in or prior to coming to the US. Unfortunately, this limited exposure often leaves them unaware of the nuances of cultural adjustment, impacting various aspects of their lives, including family relationships, employment, and social integration in the US.

At Wide World for Refugee, we bridge this gap by offering comprehensive support. We help refugees and immigrants not only understand cultural changes but also teach them how to adapt to American society while preserving their cultural heritage.

Our organization upholds the American value of an intercultural community, emphasizing the importance of respecting each culture. We believe that fostering mutual understanding and appreciation of diverse backgrounds is essential for living harmoniously.
