Rebecca Wentling

Meet Rebecca Wentling, a dedicated nurse and psychiatric nurse practitioner whose career has been defined by her commitment to serving refugee and immigrant communities. With a background in Peace and Conflict Studies from Juniata College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University, and a Master of Nursing from the University of Washington, Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work.



Throughout her career, Rebecca has worked tirelessly to address the unique healthcare needs of refugee and immigrant populations. From Maryland to Washington state, and even extending her reach to New York, Delaware, Georgia, and Guatemala, she has served in various roles including English teacher, registered nurse, Spanish translator, health coordinator, and general refugee support staff. Her dedication to providing compassionate care and support to those in need has left a lasting impact on communities around the world.



Currently, Rebecca serves as a care coordinator for the Veteran’s Administration, where she continues to advocate for the well-being of underserved populations. In addition to her professional endeavors, she is an active member of the Tacoma Refugee Choir, using her passion for music as a means of fostering community and connection among refugees and immigrants.



Rebecca Wentling exemplifies the spirit of compassion, dedication, and service. Her unwavering commitment to promoting health equity and supporting vulnerable populations serves as an inspiration to all who have the privilege of working alongside her.
