About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented professional to serve as an active and collaborative member of the board to serve as a fundraising director. The fundraising director will oversee activities which can include fundraising and awareness.
Looking for board member who is
• Are passionate working with refugees and immigrants
• Leader in their field and connected to large personal and professional network of philanthropically minded people
• Enjoy outreach, relationship management, development, fundraising and communication
• Have strength or interest in event planning and execution, social media, influencer and foundation outreach and corporate partnership
• Able to serve on one or more committee of the board
• Help develop and implement strategies for our programs and operation
• Understanding the local, state, and federal law govern non-profit organization

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience and or community leadership

  • Able to attend bi-weekly meeting

  • Previous experience with event planning, grant writing, working with foundation and fundraising

  • Expending the donor base in your local market and meeting/exceeding a personal give/get goal

  • Attending and contributing to every board meeting/calls.

  • Someone who can serve for 2 or more years

  • Experienced working with people from diverse cultural and economic background

  • Computer and digital skills

  • Willing to work on voluntary basis

Work location: Remote, we are currently operating remotely, we will encourage board members to attend in person to our events.
